Julia Rogers Hook

I left the sunny south in 1977 to pursue fame and fortune in the wild, wild west. I landed in Los Angeles where I lived for most of my life. I was a writer/actor/journalist
along with being a waitress/bartenter in the early years. I lived in Hollywood at first and then moved out to the Valley....totally and for shurre...I got my degree out there and have been a journalist ever since.
I came back here when my dad got sick, reconnected with Marty Hook, also a Bearcat...and we married in April of 2004. We live out in Spring Valley with two cats who travelled from California with me and seven outside who have decided to live in our pool house. Marty runs the family produce business and I worked as a reporter for the "State Paper" writing the police blotters until April when they discontinued the column. Now I'm freelancing for whomever calls.
Marty and I enjoy traveling to new places and spending time with Van and our families. And of course our fellow Bearcats and Gamecocks!
